Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I went to the beach. After applying sunscreen liberally and doing my best to stay out of the sun, I came home with the worst sunburn I have ever had. I almost needed to go to the hospital. I am officially too pale to be allowed outside in summer. FML
Today, I went to an amusement park with my family. I was the only one who put on sunblock, and the only one who got a sunburn. FML
Today, I got sunburnt to a crisp on the first day of my holidays away. Only 5 more days to go now, spent inside, trying not to burn more. FML
Today, I was called a wimp for getting a sunburn. FML
Today, I was badly sunburnt even after making it a point to apply a lot of sunscreen. My coworkers thought it amusing to slap me every chance they get. FML
Today, after applying sunscreen to myself every two hours, I still got sunburned. Through my clothes. FML
Today I got sunburned on my cheeks. This wouldn't be too bad if they were the ones on my face. FML
Today, it was lovely outside so I decided to tan outside. I burn pretty easily, so I put on sunscreen. I fell asleep on my side, so when I woke up, I had a massive burn on only one side of my body, with sunglass lines. Tomorrow, I have a job interview. I'm going to go in looking like a racoon. FML
Today, I went on a camping trip with my friends, but forgot to bring sunscreen. I spent the entire day outside and ended up with a severe sunburn all over my body. The pain is unbearable and I can't even move without yelping as if I was slowly being cooked in an air fryer. FML
Today, I'm so pale, my boss asked me whether I light up in the dark. FML

That sucks. Early in the spring, I need to get my sunscreen on before I take my dogs out in the garden. For five minutes or I'll get rash. Photosensitivity is a bitch. To top it off, I'm allergic to most sunscreens.

That's quite a feat, given that UVB rays (the ones that cause sunburn) don't travel through glass.

Photosensitivity isn't necessarily from UV-rays. I avoided sun when I became allergic to the sun, but got rash anyway. Only to find out reflected sunrays were enough to give me hives. Through windows. Reflected on marble. I had to powder my face on top of my blockers. As a teenage boy. And had to wear black. I love colours and it was one of the most depressing summers I've ever had and I have clinical depression as SYMPTOM.

Three years later, I had to move to a lot more sunnier day. Non-white teenage boy walking around in shades and umbrella in a colourfull city. In black.

Did you not expect sun to be able to go through a window?
Lemou_fml 25
UV doesn't, so for most people it's safe to endure.
