Today, after 22 years of perfect skin, I woke up with a bunch of angry zits on my nose. I used a clay face mask that was supposed to dry them out. Instead, they were bigger and green. Today is Valentine's day, I finally have a guy to go out with, and my nose looks like it's rotting off. FML

Today, I decided to clean my face of unwanted visitors, and spent my shower popping the pimples on my cheeks. Twenty minutes later, I remembered that I was showering ahead of a date with my girlfriend. My cheeks now look like the crater-filled surface of Mars. FML
Today, I used a new face mask that claimed it would make my skin glow. I must have missed the part about testing for allergies. My “glow” turned into a bright red rash overnight, just in time for a first date. FML
Today, I went on a first date with my crush. Right before the date, I noticed a monstrous pimple in the middle of my forehead. I covered it with make-up, but it was still visible. The guy spent the whole evening laughing at me and telling me that I look like an unicorn. FML
Today, and for the past few days, my skin has been all blotchy and messed up so I tried a new face mask that was supposed to peel off easily. It ended up sticking to my skin like glue. I spent hours in front of the mirror trying to peel it off, one painful sliver at a time. FML
Today, my brother and his girlfriend got married. I got a pretty bad pimple on my nose not long before, and I'd tried to pop it. It turned into a really bad scab instead, so I put makeup on it. I didn't notice until after the wedding that the makeup made the scab look badly infected. FML
Today, I went on a movie date. During the movie, I picked a small zit on my forehead. Afterwards, at dinner, he couldn't seem to keep his eyes off of my face. I thought he was staring lovingly at me. He was actually staring at a large throbbing zit with a trail of blood coming from it. FML
Today, my hormones decided to make my pimples appear symmetrically on my face around my nose and mouth. FML
Today, I looked at my face to see if my new age-defying lotion was working. My skin does look younger, it's covered in pimples like a teenager's. FML
Today, I broke my nose trying to pop a zit. FML
Today, I was preparing for a huge party I've been looking forward to for months. I did all the usual things a girl should do, put on a facemask, painted my nails, exfoliated… I was feeling confident until I peeled off the facemask. I guess when it said "vibrant" what it meant was bright red. FML

Oh it can happen, some women get acne towards their adult years and are totally acne-free as teens or at least get milder cases (I'm 18 and I have never gotten a zit on my cheeks). That doesn't mean just because you had minor acne as a teen that you're gonna get a crazy amount as an adult. To the OP, get concealor, the kind that comes w/ shades of yellow/purple/green and of course one that matches your skintone. When used correctly, it blocks out the red completely.

I don't believe this one... You actually pay money to buy green concealers which cancel out the red of acne. You just put your normal foundation on and the green goes away. Plus, surely you just wash your nose really good and the green goes? The mask isn't made of glue, you know. If its true you don't know how to wash ;)

You know, guys don't care as much about spots and zits as women seem to think. I always see FMLs and statuses with people freaking out that they have a spot or something (I actually don't, but it happens in the movies and hey, when have movies ever lied to us?), but if a guy has agreed to go out with you, he won't give a shit that you look identical but with a little spot. I agree, and it works both ways. I've never found someone unattractive, female or male, just because of a couple of spots. Everyone gets them at some stage, most people on a regular basis. Not a big deal.

Masks can irritate pimples...since it was last minute, you should've used a bit of rubbing alcohol on a Q tip. It works much faster than any other method and it disinfects. It isn't too late, hope you read this in time.
