Today, a woman drove her car onto my closed worksite. Since it is hazardous for the general public, I told her to leave. Later, the police arrived and gave me hell. Apparently, I was reported for being "snippy". FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
FREAKOUT!
Today, at work, I helped out an employee who was having trouble. I even bought her a bottle of water. After the production manager decided to fire her on the spot, she went out in the parking lot and broke into several cars, including mine. FML
Today, the police came to my door and told me about a woman who called the cops on me because she said that I had been following her in my car. We were on the highway. FML
Today, I was in a car accident on the way to work. I called my boss and told him I had to deal with the police and the accident report and didn't know how long it would take. He got mad and said I "should have picked a better time to do this". FML
Today, a customer at work made threats against me and my two-month old son. Instead of following policy by notifying the police, my manager apologized to him and told me to leave. FML
Today, I was on my way to work behind a very slow car. At a red light, the lady came over and punched me in the face for following her too closely. We are coworkers and our desks are next to each other. FML
Today, I was sitting in a parked car. A woman was having difficulties maneuvering out. She honked the horn repeatedly for me to move, then looked me in the eye and called me a "f**king bitch", before driving off. I was in the passenger seat. FML
Today, I was driving to work when I was almost hit by a teenage driver. I gave her the finger and shouted "F*** you!" making sure that she heard me. I then saw my boss glaring at me from the passenger seat. FML
Classic scam
Today, I was driving when a woman started crossing the street against the light at the upcoming intersection, so I slammed on the brakes and stopped short of hitting her. That's when she intentionally jumped onto my car and started screaming that I had "mowed her down". The cops believed her. FML
Today, I noticed a woman struggling to work a parking meter, so I went over to help. She took one look at me before screaming, hitting me in the face, and running back to her car. FML
Make your mind up
Today, I was chewed out by my boss for reporting someone not wearing a mask in our store, because, "no one likes a snitch." I'm the security guard. It's my job to report that to her. FML

"Snippy"? Really? I'm sorry too OP, there's not much you can reasonably do when faced with someone throwing such silly allegations at you. Kudos for being responsible and doing the right thing by trying to keep her off-site, even if she reacted in such a strange manner.

maybe OP isnt telling us everything. like actually being snippy

Charge her for trespassing :)

Or report to the police officers' superiors that the police were being "snippy"

Sometimes I wonder if some police even know what their job is.
tdawg91 17
They do..... Some people just forget what the polices job is and expect them to deal with "snippy" people instead of criminals
PANDORUM89 21
who knows what she actually said to them. she could've said that he was berating her or threatening her in a snippy tone. police usually won't drive out to see about a snippy guy asking someone to leave their property.

Is it me or are so many people like that?

She sounds like one of those people who'd also call the cops for someone kicking her trashcan or walking on her lawn.
leogachi 15
@7 You should call the police when someone kicks your trashcan over. That's called vandalism.

Hmm. If it's full I guess I would care more

You can get in trouble with the police just for being "snippy"? Wtf?

Sounds to me like this lady is married to a cop.

My dad and brother have had the cops called on them for the same thing. If the cops belong to a small little community, they tend to side with the resident and give the construction crew waaay more shit than they deserve. It's extremely annoying and the only stuff it does is delay the work.

I have a feeling that the police that showed up are related to this woman. I don't think police officers normally give people hell just for being snippy. Unless you are being snippy to the police officer.

That's the point of the FML of course she was the one who reported the OP

Yeah a few things not adding up on this FML...

I didn't know you could report snippiness to the police.

Report the police to their superiors if they weren't wearing a hard hat when they came on site to harass you.
