A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, a customer threatened to come back later and shoot the whole place up. Why? I didn't give him a discount on his beer. My boss's reaction when I called the police: "Why didn't you give him the discount?!" Last week he bitched me out for letting a girl off for being a few cents short on hers. FML
Today, I got yelled at by a customer for refusing to give a found credit card to a woman it didn't belong to. FML
Today, I told a customer that we don't do refunds. He responded by throwing his wallet at my face and accusing me of stealing it. FML
Today, at work, a customer asked for my number. When I declined, he made a huge scene, shouting and scaring other customers. He tipped me seven cents. FML
Today, I was waiting in line while a lady paid for her shopping, when her credit card got declined. She started ranting and insulting everyone and kept insisting: "I'm not poor!" By the time the lady had finally stormed off, I had spittle on my face, and the cashier was almost in tears. FML
Today, after finally getting rid of an extremely rude, abusive customer, I muttered that I could kill people like her. I didn't know my manager had heard me, until a pair of police officers arrived. He'd reported me for "threatening to murder a customer". FML
Today, my credit card got declined while I was buying anti-depressants. FML
Today, at work, I had a customer accuse me of taking the giftcard I had issued her for her return, after spending 15 minutes trying to fix her screwed up transaction. She began to yell, and follow me around the store. Security had to intervene and I had to be locked in an office until she left. FML
Today, I got chased, threatened and assaulted by a cab driver because I wouldn't take the credit card receipt. FML
Today, I had a customer write "fuck you" in the tip option area on his credit card slip, I have no idea why. FML

It's more than harassment , it's a direct threat and I hope they bannish that customer forever. As someone who works in retail P/T , I would take this very seriously . That really sucks , OP !

probably the customer. in my experience 9/10 they are wrong. I used to be a server and wrote down every order and repeated it back. they got their food telling me it was wrong. I showed them where their order was and they still argued with me. ******* idiots!
