Today, I decided to confess my feelings and perform a love song I'd written for my crush during an open mic night. He was there - he also took the opportunity to declare his love to his on-off girlfriend, get down on one knee and propose to her. She said yes. FML
Today, I confessed my feelings to the girl I like, who also happens to be my coworker. She told my boss, and they're laughing about it as I type this. FML
Today, I worked up the courage to confess my feelings to this girl I'm crazy about. I even wrote and recorded a song for her. Instead of listening to it, she gave it to her ex-boyfriend, who responded to my heartfelt words by headbutting me. FML
Today, I finally told the girl I'm in love with how I've felt ever since we first met six years ago. She let me know that not only does she not feel the same way, she's always considered me a creep and only ever hung out with me because of our mutual friends. FML
Today, I finally mustered up the courage to tell my crush how I feel about them. I poured my heart out, only for them to tell me that they're already seeing someone else. To make matters worse, they then asked me for advice on how to impress their new partner. FML

I bet you anything she knew what you wanted to talk to her about, and rather than hurting your feelings by turning you down, she decided to fake being gay. My friend and I used to do this for guys we weren't interested in.

You probably went into the meeting with three possible scenarios in your mind: 1) Yes. 2) Uncertainty. 3) No. Seeing two girls make out, but gaining the realization that it wouldn't work out not because she didn't want it, but...because it simply wouldn't work...in my mind, is better than 3 and kind of even with 2. I have mixed feelings about this "FML." You got to see two gals making out. Your L is F'd? Kind of, but not really.
