Today, my son had a fever and bad cough all night. Turns out he has RSV. My friend's baby, whose birthday party we went to a few days ago, also has RSV, and had been sick all week. She knew this and still went through with the party, without informing any of us parents. Now my baby is on breathing treatments. FML

Today, I'm stuck in bed with a fever, aches, and nasty cough. My kids and husband had it too, and kept coughing without covering their mouths, despite my asking several times so I wouldn't get sick. FML
Today, it was my daughter's 11th birthday party. One kid broke a vase, another lost a (baby) tooth, and two kids, including mine, tested positive for Covid. My kid parties harder than I ever have. FML
Today, I have the flu. I woke up to my son leaning over me, inches from my face, breathing in deeply. Apparently, he was trying to get sick so he could stay home from school. He's 15. FML
Today, after I sent my daughter to her best friend's house for a week, who lives three hours away, her friend's mom got really sick half way through. My daughter came home early because the mom was too sick. Now my daughter isn't feeling well and I just found the mom has the flu. FML
Today, it's day four of liquid ass and violent hurling after I hosted a birthday party for my daughter, and one of the kids brought a stomach virus rather than a present. Yesterday my daughter started with the violent vomiting too. Everything smells like vomit in my home. Yay me! FML
Today, I learned that I have a sinus infection, ear infection and bronchitis so bad it was on the verge of pneumonia. My work won't let me call in sick. I work with kids. Lovely. FML
Today, it has been a month since I was forced to attend my grandmother's birthday party, despite the fact that I was sick at the time. Just as I got better, my mom got sick. Then when she got better, my dad got sick. Finally, now that my dad is better, guess who's sick again. FML
Today, I still have the bronchitis and the stomach flu that I suffered through all weekend. Today was to be the day I had my bachelorette party and wedding shower. I had to call both of them off. FML
Today, I had to go pick up my kid, because he threw up while playing at his friend's house. The boy's mother bitched me out for not keeping my son at home while he was "ill". Her breath was unspeakably foul. So foul that it caused me to throw up too. FML
Today, I’m on day three of pneumonia and a sinus infection. My six year-old is on day three of a sinus infection and day one of the stomach flu. FML

No it doesn't at all. If she knew her son was sick why is she throwing a party? pandemic or not that's plain assinine. A friend of mine did that 7 years ago when her son had Pneumonia and never told any of us and my 3 yr old got it. Not ok.

We're never NOT in a Pandemic. There's always some sort of disease running a train on the population. Pandemic or not, voluntarily spending time around people when you are knowingly sick is a dick move. Doesn't matter if it is the common cold, the flu, or anything else for that matter.

My baby just tested positive for RSV yesterday. She started daycare last week and was there for all of 2 days before I pulled her out (for serious safety concerns) and then she ends up with RSV. I'm so upset. We couldn't get to a doctor over the weekend and it has been an uphill battle. Everyone in this house has contracted it at this point and we're all miserable. I just cleaned 2 cups worth of breastmilk curd and mucus off me that she threw up. The doctor said she should be fine by tomorrow... fat chance of that happening. Today's probably the worst I've seen her. I'm really starting to get worried and the doctors say there's no treatment they can give us.
