Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I was taking the subway to school. I was applying some makeup when I noticed a little boy watching me. When I was finished I heard him whisper to his mom, "I thought make up was supposed to make you pretty." FML
Today, I was sitting in the bus station when an old woman looked over at me, then said to her friend, "Young women are so pretty these days." Her friend looked up at me and said, "That's because makeup is so cheap these days." FML
Today, on the bus, I caught the eye of this ugly, sweaty girl giving me a death stare through the driver's mirror. I gave her a death stare back. Only then I realized I was staring at myself. FML
Today, as I walked on to the bus, the girl I liked whispered something to her friend. Curious, I asked what was so funny. She said she never realized that when I got on, I shook the bus. FML
Today, I went to school without makeup. No one recognized me. FML
Today, as I walked around town I noticed some guys and even a couple of girls checked me out. When I got home later I realized they probably weren't checking me out, so much as wondering why the hell I had thick black eyeliner on only one eye. Oops. FML
Today, I was on the bus, heading to work, when the girl beside me started yelling at me, claiming I was staring down her shirt. I did no such thing, but the driver nonetheless stopped the bus and made me get off, all under the withering glares of the other passengers. FML
Today, I saw a beautiful girl on the bus. Struck up a good conversation, walked with her all the way to my office. Forgot to ask her name and number. This is the second time I've done this. FML
Today, I was standing on the packed bus home when I had a speck of dust in my lenses. As I couldn't rub it out, I tried blinking it out for the next five minutes. Then the hot girl opposite me screamed, "Stop winking at me, don't even think about it you ugly fuck!" FML
Today, I was riding a bus. After having a conversation with my friend, I looked down and saw a little boy looking at me. He asked, "Are you a boy or a girl?" As if that wasn't bad enough, when I responded that I was a girl, he said, "Oh. So, why do you have a boy voice then?" FML

You should have asked her if she's heard of not needing make up to feel beautiful.

Don't take it to heart, OP. People are assholes and if you were to pay them any mind they'd win. I'm sure you're beautiful inside and out

Look at it this way: If OP wants to look a certain way, she can wear makeup. Either way, she'll still be a nice and pleasant person inside, I'm sure. That girl, on the other hand... no amount of makeup will change her crappy excuse for a personality. Chin up, OP. You win either way, as long as you don't take that jerk's words to heart.

Should've asked her if she'd ever heard of tact.

Should have asked her if she'd ever heard of a good personality, because clearly she doesn't have one. What a bitch.

Took the words out of my mouth. She has a problem that make up can't fix. You do you, OP.

I wouldnt listen to the opinion of one ignorant idiot. What matters is what you think, everyone else is irrelevant. Also whether or not you use make up is your choice, and women should not be pressured to wear make up. Its stupid.

Should've said yeah but considering your face, YOUR the one who doesn't know about it. But in actuality, it's what's inside that counts Yes it's a cliche but...

Should've asked her if she's heard of not being a ****. I hear it works wonders on both the outside and inside

Or ask her if she's ever heard of a Tiger Uppercut, and if she would like to receive one

Isn't it the worst, when some ignorant arrogant mutt says something rude and you can't instantly fire back a witty retort? Don't let her comment get to you OP - she's not worth taking notice of.

Ignore her. I never wear makeup. I want to be appreciated for my natural beauty
