Today, I found my boyfriend and his friends laughing hysterically and practically choking on popcorn. They were watching a video of me in a school play, trying to sing while sobbing because I'd just pissed my pants in front of 200 people. Thanks for giving him the video, mom. FML

Today, I found a video of a school play I starred in years ago. I was ecstatic, because it's really the only memento of my childhood I have left. Unfortunately, it started with my grandpa groaning, "Ahh shit," and degenerated into him muttering over the audio about "those fucking commies." FML
Today, my boyfriend tried to rid me of my hiccups. As he'd screamed at me and I'd pissed my pants, I just burst into tears. FML
Today, my family invited a bunch of their friends over for a party. At some point they decided to play some home videos from many years ago. In one of them, I was 7, I said, "Look Mommy! I can make my pee-pee bigger by doing this!" Everyone saw and laughed. FML
Today, I made a couple of videos of me playing guitar and singing some of my favorite songs. I got back from school to find my family huddled around the camcorder, laughing, imitating, and making jokes about the video. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I were play wrestling. I had pinned him down and was sitting on his chest when he suddenly squeezed my stomach, causing me to rip the loudest fart ever. He looked so shocked that I couldn't help but laugh. I laughed so hard that I accidentally peed on him as well. FML
Today, I was over at my boyfriend's house and I heard a strange sound. I laughed and said, "It sounds like a dog throwing up!" He listened for a second and said, "That's my mom crying downstairs." FML
Today, before third period I went to the restroom and tried to take a sexy Snapchat video to surprise my boyfriend. My video was ruined thanks to some slob in the next stall taking the loudest most explosive dump I've ever heard. FML
Today, my best friend decided she wanted to tell my boyfriend about the time I pissed myself laughing at her house. When she was telling the story I ended up laughing so hard, that I pissed myself again. FML
Today, I laughed so hard my milk went out my nose in front of the boy I liked. Then, since I was laughing so hard about that, I accidentally farted. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I were visiting his parents. I'm nervous around them so he encouraged me to drink so I'd loosen up. I got so drunk I tore up all the things in his old room I thought were from ex-girlfriends and accidentally flashed his dad my crotch. FML

I don't know if I would be more mad at my mom for giving him the video; or at my boyfriend for inviting friends over to laugh together at your expense. It might be time to take that video and permanently delete it, then have some serious talks.

It's really not that deep, we've all got embarrassing videos from when we were younger. You're just supposed to look back and laugh at how different you were back then. No 'serious' talk needs to be had...like you wouldn't laugh if you hadn't seen the video in question.

#11, I agree. Embarrassing videos should be laughed at. There's a video of yours truly curiously trying to put my finger in a dog's arsehole when I was 3 or 4 that I find hilarious. Embarrassing? Completely. Also hilarious? You bet.

My parents would definitely have done the same, thankfully they don't have any videos quite that embarrassing. I'm sure OP looked adorable despite her unfortunate situation. Plus hopefully now she can say her boyfriend has seen that yet still fancies her.

But when a 15-16 year old kid gets jump scared and pisses himself, it gets posted to YouTube and everyone laughs. No one says a thing about how humiliating it is. Of course, since in the video OP was a child everyone has to jump in and save the day.

I think that the boyfriend shouldn't have shown it to his friends, but if he has a good relationship with OP and her mom, I don't see any reason why it's so terrible.
