Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, my girlfriend dumped me for cheating on her. Her "proof" was an image of me making out with a girl. Pretty damning, except she loaded it up in Photoshop, where I saw the image layers she'd used to fake the whole thing. I'm not sure what the hell she was thinking either. FML
Today, I was looking at the page of a girl I've had this big crush on for a long time. After getting a date with her and taking her horse back riding and having a picture taken of the two of us I find that she paint shopped me out of the picture before posting it. FML
Today, I asked my friend to crop me out of her profile picture on Facebook because I look terrible in it. She responded that she wasn't going to, because it made her look better. FML
Today, my boyfriend looked so unhappy in a photo we took that I downloaded an editing app, and edited the photo to make it look like he was smiling before posting it. FML
Today, I sent my long-distance girlfriend the first photo of me I'd sent her in a while. It was a photo of me with some of my friends. She didn't know which one I was. FML
Today, I asked my boyfriend of several months to post a picture of us. He deleted his Facebook instead. FML
Today, I set my relationship status to taken with a fake profile just for kicks. A literal minute later, an acquaintance commented proof that I stole the image from Google. I can't tell if I was busted so quickly because I'm a bad liar, or that people find it impossible to believe that I could get a girlfriend. FML
Today, I deliberately snapped a pic of myself and edited it to add to my story, in order to make my ex think I have a life on a Saturday night. FML
Today, my sister sent me countless pictures of my boyfriend making out with different girls at a bar. His excuse? Photoshop. FML
Today, I changed my Facebook relationship status to "In a relationship." The girl is made up and the picture is from Google. FML

That's called stalking. Does your girlfriend know she's your girlfriend?

You could've just said that you wanted it as a phone background. She probably would have allowed that one

If that's your "girlfriend", don't expect it to last very long. If she's ashamed to be photographed with you, your relationship doesn't have a solid foundation. Lower your standards and settle!

That's just weird...

Um yeah this "girlfriend" of yours doesn't sound like much of a girlfriend if she a)hasn't/wont meet your friends b) isn't in a relationship with you online or c) take a picture with you. And the Photoshop thing is pretty creepy.. idk about you dude lol.

Are those all absolutely necessary requirements for being in a relationship? For all you know, they could be in a very good relationship, but she simply doesn't want her picture taken.

My now ex and I never took pictures (accept halloween) , we were together 5 years. He never liked myspace, facebook or anything to do the internet. Some people are more private than others.

Did you tell her it was to prove she exists? That makes it sound like you are only dating her to impress youf friends. You should take her to one of those cute picture machines and say you want them for your wallet. That way you can "prove" she exists and have wonderful memories. However, it shouldn't matter what other people think about you having a girlfriend or not. You should want to be with someone because they are a good fit and make you happy. If you are just dating her so you can have bragging rights, you are doing it wrong.

Why she wouldn't want a pic with you? Are you sure she is aware she is your girlfriend?

i dont know whats sadder, that you had to photoshop yourself into one of her pics, or that she didn't wanna take a pic with you, either way im sympathetic to you man

how long have you been dating? after about a week or date you should have at least 1 picture together. does she not want there to be proof you're dating?

Seriously? Not everyone likes taking photographs of themselves obsessively, especially at the beginning of a new relationship. I personally don't go on one or two dates and then be like "ooh, yeah! Let's take a photo together!" What's the point, if the relationship isn't going to last?

I don't know about you but I don't get into a relationship if I don't intend for it to last, I don't take them for social media I take them as memories of a day I had fun with my babe

My boyfriend and I didn't have a picture of us taken together until we were a year and a half into our relationship. Even then we only caved and let his mom take one so she'd stop bugging us about it.

how do you know it'll last though? it's just a picture. if you're out doing something cute or fun together you snap a photo of you two. if it doesn't work you delete it, not a big deal. when my boyfriend and I first started dating he told me "I don't want to waste time being with you to decide whether I like you or not." I told that's what a relationship is. you get married, or decide you don't like each other. he wanted to break up, I told him no, I liked him and that was that. 2 years later I was right, needless to say. the second date I knew I wanted to spend every possible minute with him, and I did. I spent every night with him since.
