Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I found out my mom can't wait until I turn 18, so she can kick me out and turn my room into a huge closet for all her clothes. FML
Today, my mom told me she can't wait for me to turn eighteen so she can turn my room into a place for her to display all her antique glass dolls. FML
Today, I realized my daughter has been in longer relationships than I have. FML
Today, I'm moving out of the house. My little sister can't wait and I've never seen my dad so happy. FML
Today, I realized that my 14 year-old runs my home. She has her own room, while her 11 year-old sister and I (her mother) share a room. I literally have to get her permission to go anywhere as well. FML
Today, at age eighteen, I finished moving out of my parents' house and into my own. The only person to even remotely give a shit was my sister, and that was only because I was taking the cat with me. FML
Today, I was forced to sit silently through my 20-year-old daughter's wedding to a man who is 8 years older than I am. FML
Today, and for the last few months, I finally have enough money to be able to move into my own place. I can finally have girls over. I am also at the age of 26, where most girls stop wanting to go over to a guy's house. I wish I was 18 again, when independence is seen as new and sexy. FML
Today, our youngest child finally moved out of our house. I went to embrace my wife and say something romantic about us growing old together, but she said, "Thank God they're gone, I can finally leave you." An hour later, she was gone too. FML
Today, my niece told me to go and find my own friends. She's 2, and I'm 18. FML

Calm down, she's just 8. Once she does move out you'll probably wish she was back. Let's hope she doesn't see her about this FML when she IS 18.

Cherish the moments you have with her when she gets older she could want nothing to do with you

Don't listen to the nonparents telling you how to feel. All parents have times when they love their kids beyond measure and sometimes want to run away from home.

Dear OP, I have a 6 year old niece who is driving her mom crazy. Seek help. For you and your baby sake. My niece turned out to have ADHD.

If you don't like your own child that much, just remember that she is YOUR child and is the product of YOUR parenting. YOU need to teach YOUR child how to act differently if you don't like the way she is. I also hope you never make your daughter aware of these negative feelings about her. SMH

You are a terrible mother

If she's acting up a lot, then you should get her tested for anything so that she could be safe. Even so, don't ever tell her that you have these horrible feelings towards her. At age 8, she can lose a certain amount of trust for you, even if you try to help her for the next 10 years.

If you say things like that, I'm sure she can't wait to leave YOU! If she's a brat, consider how you treat her. After all you are the one parenting her. You're partly to blame.

Wow, I hope she never reads this. Seriously, perhaps you shouldn't have had kids if you already hate them.
