Today, my boyfriend went to ask my dad for my hand in marriage. All I could make out from the door was mumbling, until profanities started flying. My boyfriend shouted "well she's a SINGLE bitch now!" and stormed out of the house. My dad still refuses to tell me what happened in there. FML
Today, my dad told me he had been seeing someone for a while and has decided to marry her. When I met her, her son looked familiar. I lost my virginity to him. FML
Today, I was having sex with my boyfriend when my dad pulled up to pick me up from his house. My dad beeped his horn and my boyfriend opened his bedroom curtain, knocked on the window, and waved. While he was still inside of me. FML

That sucks, you're dad shouldn't be making you promise that in the first place. For one thing a promise someone forces you to make isn't a real promise, and if someone does choose to wait untill marriage it should be a promise to themselves, not their parents.

I'm late on this one but I don't really care. I feel like ranting. I find it funny how many people misinterpreted the Jonas Brothers South Park episode. They were not condemning purity rings, they were condemning Disney for using them as a money making scheme. They never once said that the meaning behind them was wrong. I think people are getting out of it what they want to see, not what's truly there. I think purity rings are great, but I don't think that a parent should force it on their kid. It's a personal, private decision that you would have made yourself if that was your intention. So I'm with you there. But taking the ring, knowing you're not going to stick with what it stands for is really pathetic. Having sex later that day in your father's house while he was home isn't something that I can agree with you on, either. That was pure stupidity.

urgh i hate that! and thoses purity parties where they make their 11-12-13 year old daughters make toasts about staying virgins, to everyone! thats terrible! like they can predict the futur! things, time and ideas change , dont try and guilt ur kids into doing what u want
