Phoebe??

Today, while babysitting a young girl, I put on the movie Bambi, as she told me it was her favorite movie. I didn't know that her parents always skipped the scene where Bambi's mom dies. Despite my attempts to comfort her, she was still upset when her parents returned. Her mom blamed me. FML

Fall

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.

Same thing different taste

There there dear Winnipeg, Canada

Get me out of here!

Today, I hired a babysitter for my two kids for the evening. When I came home, I found her sitting on the floor, crying with a full bowl of popcorn, watching a kids' movie. Apparently, my six-year-old had decided to re-enact every scene from the movie, and she couldn’t take it anymore. I had to hug her and assure her that she was doing a great job. FML

They should've told you about the movies so don't blame yourself OP!

This reminds me of F.R.I.E.N.D.S

If the parents skip that scene every time she watches Bambi, why do they let her watch it in the first place? Not to mention that they're shielding her from reality. Amazing parenting.

they can't hide LIFE from her forever.

Whatever those parents need to let that kid experience life a little. Just so she doesn't grow up thinking everything is unicorns and rainbows...

not your fault. parents should have told you
