Today, my brother finally paid me the $60 he owed me. I later found out that he'd stolen those $60 from my wallet. FML
Today, my brother robbed someone. The victim spoke with me and said that if his $1500 was paid back, he wouldn’t press charges. After I gave him the money, I questioned my brother until he admitted doing it. He only took $200. FML

Today, I slept through my alarm and decided to call in sick. After falling back asleep, I woke up to my younger brother robbing my kitchen. It seems he's been doing this for weeks, every time I leave for work. He won't even give it all back. FML
Today, I found out my brother and his girlfriend stole my wedding ring, my checkbook and my disabled son's iPad to fuel their drug habit. I'm $600 overdrawn and have no food. FML
Today, after my aunt died and left me everything, I found my heroin addict brother searching my house, demanding his share of the money. He thought I had it in cash, so I called the cops. Now our mom is mad at me because a good brother would have given him something. FML

I don't care if he's family take it to the police

Even if you did "owe" him, that doesn't make it any less illegal to go into someone's living quarters and take it from them. It's still stealing.

Unless it's on paper, it didn't happen, report that brother of yours.

Holding family to a bet over $5 is petty. what a douche.

This is why you go to a school far away, live in a dorm that is locked to nonresidents, lock the door to your room, store your money and valuables in a small lockbox, and hide the lockbox. They'll find it isn't worth the trouble.

Take his car!!!!! Ooooor just take every single thing in his room and place it in a pile on a field and burn it !!!!! Apart from the stuff you want and the stuff he took from you :)

Your parents do realize that, even if you owed him money, breaking & entering and stealing, are not okay and are still crimes, right?

if he broke into your dorm room then your parents have nothing to do with it.
