Open door policy
Today, my 24-year-old brother again yelled at me for looking at him while he was on the toilet. It'd be easier not to if he didn't sit on the toilet with the door wide open, and if the bathroom wasn't directly opposite my bedroom. FML

I think a better solution would be to start taking pictures of him on the toilet and send them to his friends, FB, Twitter, anyplace that would cause embarrassment. See if he starts closing the door then.

If OP gets "yelled at" for looking accidentally (I m assuming it's accidental coz who would want to look on purpose when anyone is taking a dump)... well, I m guessing his brother is going to come at him with a vengeance once he is done with his business if OP pulls a "STUNT" like staring at him or slamming the toilet door in his face or taking his picture... I managed to correct my younger brother from doing this in his teens by taking photographs with a disposable camera and threatening to stick them up around school. You'd be surprised how quickly he started closing (and locking) the bathroom door. Now if only I could get that to work on my mother... >.>
