Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I found out my girlfriend of 3 years actually believes that the Earth is flat. FML
Today, I went on a blind date. The girl seemed perfect for me, until I found out she says "lol" and "rofl" out loud whenever she laughs. She also believes sex screws with people's "spiritual energy", and that's why she'll never have it. FML
Today, I went on a date with a guy who seemed really nice. However, halfway through the date, he started talking about how he was a flat-earther, and believed that the moon landing was faked. Oh, and that birds aren't real. I had to endure another hour of his conspiracy theories before I could finally escape. FML
Today, I took a girl out to dinner. Halfway through, she sighed and asked if it was all an episode of Disaster Date. FML
Today, I went on a date with a beautiful woman I had recently met. Great food, great conversation, and a great connection. That is, until she revealed that she is a lesbian. FML
Today, I took a girl on a date. Her and her imaginary friends. FML
Today, I was going on a blind date with a girl. She walked up to the table, said "Nah, no thanks" and left. FML
Today, I went on a date with a girl my friend set me up with. I thought we got along great, until after dessert, when I asked if she'd be interested in doing this again. She just said, "Nahhh" then got up and casually left, stiffing me on the bill. FML
Today, I got stood up on a date. To add insult to injury, meeting up was her idea. FML
Today, I had to explain to my husband that the Earth is not flat. He didn’t believe me. FML

You probably felt it was chemistry, but she was thinking you two could change lead into gold.

Just say "based off of what evidence/research/studies/scientists/credibility"? Offer your own of course, compare notes and see if you and the other person is willing to learn rather than accept something without following up with investigations. Were they able to say learn it may show a sign of maturity. She may be incorrect but the willingness to see the truth may keep her in the running chemistry-wise. However if she is unwilling to accept universal truths based off evidence, she will have chemistry with no one. P.s. this applies in all situations.

Pretty sure that someone had a full blown debate will Bill Nye with him being the "globe" side. Notably, the fans and person that argued the flat earth side apparently believe they won the debate when it isn't the case. In otherwords, there are better things one can do with their time than try to rip a flat-earther's delusional head out out of their ass.

I worked with an RN in a big hospital that was a flat-Earther. Well, she believed every stupid conspiracy, too.

the earth is 71% covered by water and none of it is carbonated so technically she's not wrong

Did you convince her that raindrops, bubbles and balloons are flat?
