Non-baby fever

Today, I found out that my fiancé, with whom I've been with for 10 years, doesn't want to have sex with me because he thinks I'm going to trap him into having a baby. He sees me take my contraceptive pill nightly and knows I was booked in for having a coil fitted before Covid-19 happened. FML

Halloween

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.

The fact that he sees you taking the pill isn't the problem here. If he has so little trust in you and absolutely doesn't want a baby but isn't ready to take the appropriate mesures to prevent this himself... well, that doesn't bode well for your relationship.

10 years and he doesn’t trust you with contraception? Writing is on the wall, move on.

At ten years you should be thinking about starting a family (unless it’s a late life romance) It’s fairly normal To think about starting a family at this point. Maybe see a therapist try to work through the issues

10 years is long enough. If he isn’t ready to commit like that, and it’s what u want, it may be time to consider moving on.

For crying out- it's not about trusting you to not get pregnant. It's about the fact that he would consider having a baby when you've been together for ten years "baby trapping".
