Negotiations

Today, I had to tell my 28-year-old roommate she needs to wash her hands after using the bathroom. She then said she’d try, as long as I try to put my dishes in the dishwasher. Those aren’t even on the same level. FML

Halloween

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.

Same thing different taste

In this environment of "what-about-ism", it's close enough. This is why society is collapsing.

Are you both single?

Society isn’t anywhere near close to collapsing.....

On what planet do you live?

Tell me this next year.

Are you both single?

Um, yeah. The two are exactly on the same level.

Not really? One is basic hygiene, one is common decency. Not putting dishes in the dishwasher (assuming they’re rinsed of course) is nowhere near as bad as spreading viruses or bacteria such as E. coli, the flu, or covid 19 that could kill someone.

Leaving food on plates to rot is way worse on so many levels. If you have a dishwasher, that's just next level laziness F your roommates life, and good for her for that solid comeback.

You really think leaving bits of food on a plate for a few days is worse than leaving bits of urine and feces on one’s hands after using the bathroom? Do they not have hand soap where you’re from? Is not washing hands the norm?

who actually washes their hands after peeing? you and your roommate are both wrong

Today, I had to actually stop washing my hands after going to the bathroom to force my roommate to wash her dishes. I can’t believe it came to this. FML
