Mr Burns
Today, I didn't want to get sand in my shoes, so I walked down to the beach barefoot. The sand was so hot that it burned the soles of my feet. I now have blisters across the bottom of my feet and between my toes… but at least there's no sand in my shoes. FML

Was there any water nearby to walk near / cool off your feet? I have always found the wet sand easier to bear in the middle of summer.

Genius move in the summer. It's hot ofc the sand is gonna be hot. Wear flip flops to the beach like a normal person

Why did you keep walking barefoot if the sand was that hot? Your health is worth so much more than a clean set of shoes. I always bring flip-flops when I go to the beach. Lesson learned OP.

Sand is small rocks, rocks can get extremely hot. Always take some kind of footwear as a backup at the beach. Lesson learned unfortunately.

At least OP looked on the bright side of there being no sand in their shoes. 2 points for your positivity!
