Mr Burns
Today, I didn't want to get sand in my shoes, so I walked down to the beach barefoot. The sand was so hot that it burned the soles of my feet. I now have blisters across the bottom of my feet and between my toes… but at least there's no sand in my shoes. FML

Was there any water nearby to walk near / cool off your feet? I have always found the wet sand easier to bear in the middle of summer.

Once you felt it was hot why did you stay on it long enough to get burned?

Ouch, that's gonna be rough but when they heal your soles will be tougher. It'll turn to callus and then soon you won't ever need shoes! ?

So you kept walking on it even though it was that hot? You'd think that after touching it the first time, you'd say nope and get your shoes.

Maybe when you realized it was hot you coulda just dug your feet into the sand till you hit the cold layer (about an inch under the surface)
