Today, I have the flu. I had to wash the dishes, cook dinner, take out the trash, and take care of the laundry, all while my wife sat around watching TV, because she was "too tired". I work 8 hours a day. She's a college student. She doesn't see what's so unfair about this. FML

Today, I woke up with the flu. My wife thinks I'm faking it so we don't have to go on date night, even though I've been on the toilet all day. FML
Today, I came home after ten hours at work to find my unemployed wife and 4 kids sprawled out watching TV waiting for me to get home and cook for them. I had to wash all the dishes first because they didn't feel like getting up or helping. FML
Today, after weeks of my girlfriend complaining that I don't help with the chores, I secretly took a day off work to deal with some that were piling up. When she got home, all she could do was complain about how I hadn't done more. FML
Today, my wife can't be bothered to do anything that isn't work, talk about her work, and sit on the sofa. Then she complains that I don't show any affection, when she can be bothered to even talk to me. FML
Today, my husband and I are sick. He keeps whining about how bad he feels. I'm just as sick, as well as 7 months pregnant. I've not only been taking care of his whiny ass: I've cooked, cleaned, and gone to the store several times because the tissues we had were too rough on his nose. FML
Today, after being sick all day with the flu, I asked my husband to wash the dishes after I went to bed. He said he couldn't because he had a large, important project for work that needed to get done. I woke up a couple of hours later to find him smoking weed on the couch and watching cartoons. FML
Today, at home, I always do my share of the chores. I just got back from a business trip and it turns out that I actually do ALL the chores. My wife was alone for 9 days, the kitchen was a in state, dirty laundry everywhere, cat litter box overflowing onto the floor, and the bathroom was fucking disgusting. FML
Today, I've been bedridden with the flu for two weeks. My boyfriend only got concerned because I haven't done any laundry, and was worried about what the girls at the coffee shop across from work would think if he turned up wearing the same clothes two days in a row. FML
Today, after almost a week of being bed-ridden with a bad flu, my mom told me it was my job to clean the house. When I told her I still had a fever and didn't feel well, she looked at me and said in an understanding voice "It's okay honey, you can do it slowly." FML
Today, my wife called me at work to yell at me because the house is a mess. She hasn't helped me clean in over two years, and when I ask for help, there's always a new excuse, headache, tired from work, stress, etc. FML

I don't know about you but when i had the flu i had headaches, body aches, sore throat, and a runny nose. The last thing i wanted to do was move.

Excuse me, but as a double major in college, I work 50-60 hours a week. If she's full time, then she works at least 35. College isn't rainbows and daisies, it's a job with no pay. How about you treat her like an equal and it wouldn't be such a problem.

Welcome to the club. Wifey hasn't worked for twenty yrs. since we been married. Always complains too tired, kitchen to small the house a mess. I have two jobs, Worked seven days a week. Although, couldn't be mor proud of my kids. She has done a great job. Quid pro quo?

Unless she's working a job too tell that lazy bitch to do some work or better yet cough on all her food you serve her while you're sick then refuse to help her when she get's sick

@#89 OP posted that she gave her reason as being tired. Regardless of her being tired, though, she should've got off her ass and taken care of shit. If she had a big college project due, then some of the stuff could've waited, but there's no way a man with the flu who's been working should have to take care of all that shit. I would NEVER let my husband do all that. I'd tuck his ass into bed and start making homemade soup for him while keeping the kids quiet so he could get better. What the hell is wrong with women today? Oh wait. We're in Generation Me where no one really gives a **** about the next person.
