Today, my live-in mother-in-law brazenly swiped most of the money from my wallet, then walked out of the room as if nothing had happened. The worst thing is that my wife believes anything she says, so I can't do a damn thing about it. FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I witnessed my mother-in-law reach into my wife's purse and practically empty it out into her pocket. When I confronted her and called my wife into the room, both of them accused me of lying through my teeth, because I've always hated her. FML
Today, I came home after a long day at work to find the furniture in my living room had been rearranged by my mother-in-law. When asked how she got in, she told us she stole my husband's key and made herself a copy. She can now come here whenever she wants, unless I change the locks. FML
Today, I slipped money into my mother's purse after she refused to let me pay for lunch. She caught me in the act and thought I was stealing money from her instead. FML
Today, I found out my mother-in-law sold a precious family heirloom and gambled away the money. FML
Today, I came home to my mother-in-law wearing the gold chain which I usually keep in a hidden drawer. I searched my drawer only to find out my chain was missing. I asked my mother-in-law if she took it and she keeps denying the fact that she stole it from me. My husband is on her side. FML
Today, I got home from work to I find my cash box open and empty. My mom walked up and said, "If you have a lock that easy to pick, you don't deserve the money." There was 650 dollars in there. She refuses to give it back. FML
Today, I met my biological mother for the first time. She stole my wallet. FML
Today, I was talking to my mom about my issues with my girlfriend. While she was sympathizing, she slowly picked up my wallet, took $100 and left. FML
Today, my wife says she's not hiding money from me but I checked our joint bank account, which I no longer use, and find she's been transferring money in-and-out of 3 accounts, while taking money from me and getting payday loans to cover it. FML
Today, I caught my sister taking money from my wallet. When I confronted her, she claimed that she was actually putting back money that she had stolen earlier. She doesn't understand the irony. FML

I'd do 3 things, first I'd go cashless most everywhere excepts credit cards or a check for rent. 2 I'd get even swipe the money back or take something of equivalent value (that's just on principle even if I threw the objet away I'd do this. course you could add 10% interest only seems fair for a loan). 3rd I'd set up a can to catch her doing things like this. Set total domination up. Victory is yours for the taking if you're willing. I just thought of a 4th thing. makes the in-laws life so miserable that she just doesn't want to be there anymore. make her cry every day. say little barbs, jibes, and hints. like when are you leaving? when are you getting a job? When are you going to get a man? Can you even get a man at your age. isn't it time for you to go into full time care somewhere? ect..

You're in a house where you are ruled over by your wife and your mother in law. Time to man up, or get out. You don't have to just take it. Stand up for yourself to both of them. Don't let your wife dictate the interaction. Marriage is suppose to be a partnership.
