Today, at my workplace, a TV was installed just above my register at work which plays the same mind-numbingly awful 13 second ad on loop for the duration of our latest sale. The sale lasts for what are going to be three very long weeks. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, at my job at the mall, our music malfunctioned and now will only play the same three songs over and over again. Our manager won't let us turn it off because "the customers won't notice". FML
Today, the satellite radio at work went on the fritz, playing one song over and over. Management wouldn't turn it off, though, because then customers would miss out on all those upcoming-sale announcements that run intermittently. Meanwhile, I got to listen to "Footloose" for eight hours. FML
Today, I was watching a movie online. There was a 15 minute ad. 13 minutes into watching an ad about birth control, I noticed that there was a "skip this ad" button in the corner. FML
Today, the mall I work at started playing Christmas songs on repeat. It's the beginning of November. FML
Today, I went to a store to buy a 43-inch TV that was on sale. The sale was so good that they sold out on the floor. I went to guest services and asked the employee if they had any in the back. She literally went to the back of the room, let out this god awful fart, came back out and said, “Sorry, we don’t.” FML
Today, my manager made everyone put up Christmas decorations around the store. As well as this, we're going to have Christmas music playing on repeat all the way through to January. It's not even September yet. FML
Today, I got a badly-needed job at a local discount store. After being hired, I found out I'm to help with the soon-to-begin store closing sale, and I'll be jobless again after 3 months. FML
Today, I met someone who works in radio advertising. Making conversation, I described an ad that I can't stand. He wrote it. FML
Today, the Salvation Army stationed one of their obnoxious bell-ringers in the mall right outside my store. My employees and I can wave goodbye to any form of sanity for the next month. FML
Today, I found an ad for my job at my company on an online job board. FML

You'll tune it out eventually. Customers constantly comment on the extremely loud and annoying music at my workplace, but I honestly don't even hear it anymore. Besides, you're a cashier, you'll be too busy to pay attention.

I know what that's like. Twice a year, a sales rep comes to my work to do infomercial type presentations throughout the day. Multiple times per day. When he is getting ready to start, he makes multiple announcements on the loud speaker, decreasing the time between each announcement until they are actually like 5 seconds apart.
