Insensitive
Today, I got written up by HR after my new coworker told them I had an ignorant, offensive caricature of Native American people decorating my desk. It was a framed photograph of an actual Native American tribe that belonged to my history buff grandfather. FML

Could you go to a higher up and show them the picture? This seems like an easy fix.

Complain to the HR that the co-worker is too dumb to exist.

Some people need to mind their own business. You should report that person for being a dick head.

Your grandfather owned a Native American tribe? ;)

Honestly, that is a very weird office decoration. A picture with your grandfather in it makes sense. But a random picture of strangers that your grandfather happened to have? That's weird.

You should've shown them the picture. You wouldn't have been written up.

i dont see why you would have that on your desk but i wouldnt even report that I'd probably just avoid talking to you if i actually thought u were racist

it depends on exactly what the picture was and when it was taken Native Americans have been stigmatized and characterized 130 years many photos taken between 1870 and 1930 could be characterized as offensive
