HB!
Today, it is mine and my twin sister's birthday. We both wanted a day at the spa for our birthday. My sister got a gift certificate to the spa, while I got mouthwash and a $20 gift card to Target. My mom said it would cost too much to make me also pretty. FML

What a douchey thing to do! If they couldn't afford it for both, they shouldn't have given it to one. I'm sorry, man.

That's terrible! Same thing happened to my grandmother when she was younger. For their 18th birthday her parents gave her twins a gold watch. My grandmother got a pair of black socks. She was the unloved twin.

That's so ****** up. I'm sorry. You should confront your mother about it because that was just a ****** up, uncool thing to do. :|

i have a real hard time believing this is true. i don't even have a twin but my parent still try to keep things equal between my bother and i.

Some people's parents don't treat all their kids equal.

I'm a twin, and if my mom did that, I would be so angry. It's bad enough that my brothers each get three different cakes for their birthday, while my sister and I each get one (if we're lucky), but that is just ridiculous. Sorry. :(

That's seriously, ****** up.

aww! I seriously want to believe what others said about how you're pretty enough as it is, but everyone deserves to be pampered now and then! I really hope the tables are turned come the next gift-giving holiday. :(
