Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, my mom decided to follow me during my driving test. She rear ended me. FML
Today, I faked a sore throat for the school nurse so I could go home early. It took my dad the rest of the school day just to get there to pick me up. FML
Today, while waiting for my mom to pick me up from university, I took out my phone and pretended to talk to someone. I didn't think people still pointed and laughed, but apparently they do when your mom pulls up and shouts, "Stop pretending to talk to someone." FML
Today, my boss made me work a longer shift than usual. Not because he needed me in, but just so I'd finish at the same time as his brat of a son, and give him a lift home. FML
Today, I wanted to spend the day cleaning my room. My mom thinks that I was lying just to stay home, so she yelled at me to go to her shop. At the shop, she yelled at me for not being any help. When we got home she yelled at me for having a messy room. FML
Today, I had been sick all day, so to cheer me up my dad drove me to get ice cream. On our way back, we hit a puppy. FML
Today, my car broke down in the middle of nowhere. I walked about 3 miles to the nearest house to call a tow truck. When I got back to where I left my car, it was gone. FML
Today, I wasn't allowed to work from home, despite being ill enough to just take the day off anyway, all so there could be "someone to answer the phone." The phone didn't ring once all day. FML
Today, my car broke down. My colleague came to get me and then, later, my husband picked me up from work. We went to collect my abandoned car, but it was gone. It took 10 minutes of me panicking and thinking it had been stolen before he crumpled in laughter and told me he'd already collected it. FML
Today, my boss entrusted me with his car to run an errand, as I usually take the bus. I managed to get there and back safely before someone slammed into me while I was re-entering the lot, causing major damage. It was his wife, who thought I was a car thief. FML

Even parents are still scared of teachers it seems.

Today, in front of my boyfriend, I let out a horrifying fart. My boyfriend exclaimed, 'That sounded wet!' The worst part is that it was. FML

he can say whatever he wants... calm down

He CAN say what ever he wants, but we can also say what we want, including telling him to stay on topic, which would be considered polite and good manners.

My teachers have offered students rides home before if anyone needed help with work after school, I never accepted... but my friend did and she told me it was awkward as hell!

Depends what teacher. I used to go to the auto wrecker's with my shop teacher a couple times a month. But shop teachers don't really count as teachers do they?

This story started out with such promise, yet it fell flat for me. After the first sentence, I expect the OP to walk in on the teacher driving his mom home, if you know what I mean. Yeah, it's been that kinda day around here.
