Grudge

Today, my grandmother informed me that I was rude to her at my wedding two months ago, all because she couldn’t sit at the bridal table, even though she "paid for the wedding." FML

Halloween

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.

Why is "paid for the wedding" in quotes? Did she or did she not pay for the wedding? I have to know in order to render my verdict.

Correct me if I'm wrong in my understanding here, but -- The bridal table, as in the head table where the newlyweds and their bridesmaids and groomsmen sit? And generally, just them? Because that's a very strange request/demand to make, even if you're contributing to the wedding. Seems like a very entitled thing for grandma to ask for. Assuming she even vocalized this while seating was being planned.

It doesn’t matter who paid for the wedding. The bridal table is the the bride and groom and the wedding party.

@TomeDr Not all weddings are like that. Some have a head table where the bride and groom sit with their parents and a few other VIPs.

I also need to know this

That begs the question: Why wasn't your grandmother in the wedding party?
