Go vegan!
Today, after weeks of me "forgetting" to buy meat and animal products, my husband asked to talk. I was hoping he was getting the hints that I wanted us to go vegan. He wanted me to get checked for early-onset dementia. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I told my husband we should try go vegan for a while to see if there were any health benefits. He threw me over his shoulder and put me outside, because, “crazy plant ladies live outside with the other vegetables.” FML
Today, I had to tell my wife that the new "vegan" diet she has put us on is not working with my body. It's not the horrible gas, hot shits, or constant hunger that made me realize this. It was the dream I had about fried chicken that did. FML
Today, I've been a vegan for a year. It's also the day that I met my dad's new best friend, who happens to be a retired butcher. They tried to pull an intervention on me for not "being sensible" by eating meat. FML
Today, I fed my husband a vegan beef burger so I could show him that it tastes exactly the same when he didn’t notice. He noticed on the first bite and spat it across the kitchen because he thought the meat had expired before I cooked it, and tasted disgusting. FML
Today, my boyfriend spent half his paycheck on gourmet steaks, bacon, and all sorts of other meat. When I reminded him we were trying to go meatless to help the planet, he said, "Yeah, I'm done with that. The planet can burn." We'd only been vegan three days. FML
Today, as we were discussing our plans for 2026, I suggested we go vegan as it's healthier and better for the planet. My husband said, "Ask me to go vegan again and I'll have divorce papers for you the next day." Why? Why are men so adamantly opposed to veganism? FML
Today, after months of health problems and my boyfriend offering unsolicited advice that mostly boiled down to "eat meat, take vitamins", I finally followed his suggestions to prove that he was wrong. It's a week later and I feel better than I have in years. He's never going to let this go. FML
Today, I told my girlfriend that I'm a vegan. She replied, "So, you're allergic to meat?" FML
Today, after being a vegetarian for 5 years, I found out that my boyfriend of 2 years has secretly been feeding me meat. His reason is that he thinks it's "funny" that I still call myself a vegetarian afterwards. FML
Today, my boyfriend told me the sauce he made for our dinner that was meat-based, trying to show me how nice meat is and stop me being a weirdo vegan. The reason I’m vegan is because my digestive system can’t handle animal protein. I’m writing this from the bathroom, vomiting myself to death. FML

Well, it is kinda batshit crazy that you'd rather **** about with stupid games than actually communicating with him like a grown ******* adult.

Veganism is a personal lifestyle choice. You're welcome to become vegan yourself, but don't try forcing it onto someone else. Or at least ask if he'd want to switch to veganism along with you. It's not something that you silently try to convey without any sort of communication. "Forgetting" the meat and other animal products in hopes they'll understand, as you've been shown, won't work. And if it's not something they want to take part in, you should accept his answer, as they should accept your personal want to become vegan.

Two things: 1. Use your words. Communicate like the adult that you supposedly are. Have a conversation about things instead of dancing around it hoping the other party picks up your obtuse hints. 2. *Ask* him if *he* wants to go vegan. You can decide for yourself, but you can't force him to. Just as he couldn't force you to continue buying and cooking meat/animal products for him. The solution to all of that is what a conversation would help establish - Both vegan, you vegan/him not, neither vegan - Then if you're vegan and he's not, how will that affect household responsibilities such as groceries and cooking - Separate, together with some compromise, or it's enough of a dealbreaker for one or both of you to completely go your separate ways. These are kind of important things to establish, yeah?

what else do you hide from him and not communicate about? you sound pretty passive aggressive too. This is childish and I hope he finds better than you

So many things wrong here. First, instead of doing the mature thing and talking to your husband about a lifestyle choice, you intentionally stopped buying food items behind his back. Second, I can't stress this enough - you do NOT force your choices on others, especially when it comes to going vegan. That's a huge change and commitment/sacrifice, and not everyone wants to do it. You sound like an immature manipulator.

Dear OP, please tell your husband that I am offering to buy him a cheeseburger for every day you've ****** around and denied this poor man the joy of cooked animal flesh because of your selfish behavior. Also, we will have beers.
