Figure it out

Today, I listened to my roommate and her friend struggle with their math homework for an hour. It wouldn't be so bad, except for the fact that I'm a math major and repeatedly offered my help. They'd rather fail math than be around me. FML

Halloween

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.

At least you offered! If they wanna fail, let them fail!

No, it means OP is intelligent in the mathematical field. However, you sound like a judgmental idiot.

They'll regret it later.

Don't feel too bad about it. They don't sound like people you want to hang out with anyway.

If they let you help them with their math, then you think you'll deserve to eat with them. They rather fail than put up with that social suicide.

Math =/= good at math

Math major =/= good at math. Is what I meant to write.

Math major != Good at teaching math. Sorry, I'm a C programmer.

Just wait until finals, you'll have the last laugh when they miserably fail instead of accepting your tutoring.

Haha prepare. When they fail, they'll come back to you mad saying you should've helped. That's just how people are, sadly.

Or they won't fail because they might decide to get help elsewhere.

People are stupid,lazy,and greedy nowadays.

How does refusing help make a person greedy?

They might have other strengths. Can they say "Welcome to McDonald's?"

That's a big burden for the OP to bear. When the roommate and her friend are ready for help, they'll seek it out. It doesn't have to be from her specifically.

That's sad...

Won't be ur fault if they fail.... U tried! OP
