Figure it out

Today, I listened to my roommate and her friend struggle with their math homework for an hour. It wouldn't be so bad, except for the fact that I'm a math major and repeatedly offered my help. They'd rather fail math than be around me. FML

Halloween

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.

At least you offered! If they wanna fail, let them fail!

No, it means OP is intelligent in the mathematical field. However, you sound like a judgmental idiot.

keep your head up while you have a hold on your life and have a rewarding job they will still be in that room working on that same problem.

As long as her math is good enough to give correct change for my McDinner I'm sure she'll be fine.

Their stupidity will cost them.

Well maybe you do something that makes them feel that way towards you :/

You can't fix stupid......

No, you can't fix stupid. But you can numb it with a 2x4.

I'm sorry paco, but I have to do this....*STUPIDITY*

They might just want to try themselves or they're uncomfortable asking for help. I get uncomfortable about that and it's taken me a while to accept help when it's offered. I feel bad about putting people out. There's a good chance it has nothing to do with not wanting to be around you.

Lol rub it in their faces after they fail

Who says they are going to fail! Maybe it just takes them a little bit longer to figure out the problem then others! Not everyone is a math major and not everyone is great at math.. And from the looks of the situation it looks like your roommate wants to figure it out on their own

Don't offer next time! And if they ask you next time tell them you have your own work to do. :)

They won't ask next time because they don't want to be hella annoyed

Get your own friends.

Yes, offering help on a subject you major on must mean you have no friends of your own. What an excellent observation.

Otherwise she would have left and done something fun.

You don't get sarcasm, do you?

What's wrong with offering help? That's just being nice.

It's nice to offer it once, but every time after that is a waste of time.

It's okay... I understand
