Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I sat next to an attractive punk-rock guy on a plane. I tried impressing him by playing music I thought he would like. I clicked on The Who and opened a large window with the album cover so he could see. The track then shuffled, and he was faced with a giant picture of Miley Cyrus. FML
Today, I got a song stuck in my head and couldn't stop humming it, even during an important meeting. I didn't realise I was doing it until my boss stopped talking, looked at me, and said, "You OK over there Jim Morrison?" FML
Today, I overcame my stage fright and got up in front of a café audience with my acoustic guitar to sing a few of my songs. Some asshat kept yelling stuff like "NEEDS MORE COWBELL!" and "FREEBIRD!", which made me lose my nerve and flee. FML
Today, I hopped into what I thought was my friend’s car, sat down, and started chatting away about the trip to Vegas we were about to hit the road for. After a few moments of awkward silence, I looked up to see a terrified stranger staring at me. I was very close to getting maced. FML
Today, I went to see my favorite band in concert. Not only did the people next to me have a loud conversation through the entire set, the guy behind me repeatedly tried to lecture me for head-butting him. Given he was a foot taller than me, I'm not even sure how that was possible. FML
Today, I got to spend 4 hours on a bus with a group of selfie-taking teenagers who spent the majority of the time trying to harmonize while singing various songs. I'm pretty sure half of them were tone deaf. FML
Today, I was in an elevator when some awkward geeky-looking guy walked in. He asked me how my day was, but I said, “You’re not my type, don’t even try.” An hour later, I was at a concert. Turns out he was the lead singer of the opening band. He glared at me angrily when he noticed me in the crowd. FML
Today, I tried to overcome my shyness by warmly greeting the bus driver while entering it. I instead blurted out really loudly the words of the song my iPod was playing. FML
Today, I tried to take a photo of the guy next to me on the bus because he looked like one of the actors in Harry Potter. My flash went off, and the picture was so close-up it looked like I was documenting his acne. He glared at me for the rest of the ride, which was short because I got off at the next stop, nowhere near my destination. FML
Today, I finally got to attend the concert I have been anticipating for weeks. The band was great. The drunk guy sitting behind me yelling profanity and out of tune lyrics in my ear throughout the entire show, however, was not. FML

Miley's image is part of a publicity stunt. All press is good press so even negative things like this get her name out there. I don't know much about the girl except the fact that she has a very good agent. Everyone knows her name so whether you like her or not, you're buying into the propaganda! I'm fairly certain they put pacifist in quotations to question the title OP has given himself. Such as someone being the first level (let's say they are level one out of 100 levels for a player) on a game and calling him/herself prestige then losing badly, in which case a person says sarcastically, "Yeah, you're 'prestige.'" Sorry for my bad example but I couldn't think of anything else and it was the first thing to come to mind in order to explain. Then again that's just my take on the comment.

I think OP put it there to show that he's not the kind of person who would normally react like that. If you go around punching people whenever you get angry then this wouldn't be that surprising. If you are a committed pacifist and get violent then not only would you be surprised at yourself but it just shows how awful the catalyst was for you to have gotten angry and lost it.

I'm not a fan of Miley, but when she first started she was a great singer( still wasn't a fan then, but she did have talent). Now she went down a path a lot of people think is weird.
