Today, I received several texts congratulating me on my pregnancy. It turns out that my husband announced he is going to be a father on Facebook, which I don't use. I'm not pregnant. FML
Today, I found out that I'm pregnant and sent a picture of the positive test to my boyfriend. Before I got a text back from him, I saw his newly updated Facebook status, which read, "This has got to be the most depressing day of my life." FML
Today, I found out that I'm pregnant. I also found out that the dad has a fiancée. FML
Today, I found out the guy I was seeing was married, with a kid, when his wife sent me a friend request on Facebook. FML
Today, I found out I'm 9 weeks pregnant. I got on Facebook to message my baby daddy, but was stopped in my tracks by his mugshot plastered all over my news feed for an alleged meth distribution investigation. He was already on parole. FML
Today, the man who tried to mug me sent me a friend request on Facebook. FML
Today, I found out I’m pregnant with the man I’ve been in love with for almost a year. When I told him, he got down on one knee, cuddled my abdomen and said, "Get out." FML
Today, I found my biological father, who I have never met, on facebook and decided to message him. He blocked me. FML
Today, I found out my soon-to-be husband and father of my unborn child is already married to another man. FML
Today, I found out that my husband proposed to his girlfriend, and that her mom had posted it on Facebook. FML

There are a lot of assumptions being made in the comments. OP never said this was a one night stand, they could be in a relationship. While Facebook isn't that important in the grand scheme of things, it is a type of communication and obviously he doesn't want OP knowing what he's doing on there. OP may find out she's one of many relationships.

It was something along the lines of "Quick! Accuse him of rape to get yourself out of this mess". Either they were being serious, in which case they're clearly an absolute moron, or they were joking, in which case they were trivialising the experiences of people who speak up about being raped.

You don't know how well OP may or may not know this dude. My husband and I were best friends for two years before starting a romantic relationship. He didn't accept my friend request until a year into dating, simply because he never logged into his account. We definitely knew each other very well. We don't know the circumstances of this post. There may be a lot of backstory or very little. It's all assumptions right now, until OP makes a follow up (if she does).

That doesn't make any sense. Like it or not, plenty of relationships have begun with casual sex. I have been in a great relationship for the last five years that started that way.
