Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I received several texts congratulating me on my pregnancy. It turns out that my husband announced he is going to be a father on Facebook, which I don't use. I'm not pregnant. FML
Today, I found out that I'm pregnant and sent a picture of the positive test to my boyfriend. Before I got a text back from him, I saw his newly updated Facebook status, which read, "This has got to be the most depressing day of my life." FML
Today, I found out that I'm pregnant. I also found out that the dad has a fiancée. FML
Today, I found out the guy I was seeing was married, with a kid, when his wife sent me a friend request on Facebook. FML
Today, I found out I'm 9 weeks pregnant. I got on Facebook to message my baby daddy, but was stopped in my tracks by his mugshot plastered all over my news feed for an alleged meth distribution investigation. He was already on parole. FML
Today, the man who tried to mug me sent me a friend request on Facebook. FML
Today, I found out I’m pregnant with the man I’ve been in love with for almost a year. When I told him, he got down on one knee, cuddled my abdomen and said, "Get out." FML
Today, I found my biological father, who I have never met, on facebook and decided to message him. He blocked me. FML
Today, I found out my soon-to-be husband and father of my unborn child is already married to another man. FML
Today, I found out that my husband proposed to his girlfriend, and that her mom had posted it on Facebook. FML

It's a sad world when Facebook relationships are more important than real life ones.
MdMan2 23
Is Facebook really that important? That you base him on the fact that he won't accept your Facebook request?

It's Facebook. Who cares! What matters is your relationship with him outside of Facebook… what should be your actual relationship.

Abortion
limabeans101029 21
*OP's choice.
VeganDarkLight 31
*and the father's to some degree. Of course it's OP's body and therefore she has the last say, but it's not only her child so the father's decision should be included. (Although the father in this case doesn't really seem to care, I'm just stating my general opinion)
SPN_lover666 27
#18, It is 100% OP's choice. If she wants one, good for her for choosing. If she wants to give birth and raise it, good for her. If she wants to put it up for adoption, another good for her. She doesn't need anyone telling her what to do with her body.
JohnTheDonJuan 11
Except that if it's 100% her choice, that gives the father no choices at all. If she wants it and he doesn't he should be able to sign a waiver absolving him of all responsibilities for said child now. How is it fair if he doesn't want it and she just says I do so that's it. Yeah, it's her body, I get that. I'm not saying she should be forced into abortion, but you're basically forcing the father to have the child as well, when nobody would force the mother to. And saying he shouldn't have had sex then is an invalid argument because he wasn't the only one having sex. It takes two to get pregnant, it should require two to make the birth/abortion decision.
qdawg06 23
I mean as long as he follows you on Twitter, who cares? But seriously, I hope he ends up being a good father.
WitEluded 13
Did you try posting happy Father's Day on his wall?

Should use protection, or sleep with better people. Not sure what to vote as yet on this one.
janfleury 19
Again who said protection was not used. Protection is not 100% all the time.

WOOHOO FOR ABORTIONS!!! :D
ItsDutch 16
I'll never understand why people jump to abortions.. Unless you can't physically give birth, you could always just man the **** up and raise the kid, or adopt it out to a couple who want kids, but are not able to. I understand everyone has the right to make their own decision, but there are better ways than to abort.
hufflepuffle 13
If you feel that you cannot provide your child with the life that they deserve or don't want to entrust your kid's upbringing to someone else then abortion is an entirely valid option.
JohnTheDonJuan 11
Here's something you probably haven't considered: over-population. Isn't there enough poor, starving, unwanted children around already? Carrying capacity is real and we may have already breached it. It's not popular to think about, but it's the truth. And there are plenty of orphans already for those people that can't have kids. Let's not keep adding to the problem.

#47, Says the man who will never know what it's like to have to make that choice
ItsDutch 16
I understand your reasoning and I feel if someone chooses to abort they have every right to. I just personally don't agree with it, except under certain situations. Just trying to state my views on the topic. My apologies if my other comment came off the wrong way.
shmoooopie 29
#63, you don't have to agree with it, that's fine. Just know that it's a very touchy subject for women who are tired of being told what to do with their bodies. And regardless of what people think it's not an easy choice to make
LastResort318 14
Abortion should be illegal. Tell women what to with their bodies? Why don't women just not have sex. Guys are told that when they don't want a child so women should be to.
MRSwick2525 23
You're a Douche Bag. Woooooohoooooooo Just sayin
janfleury 19
Sounds like he accepted some of your request. Send him a message that he is going to be a dad. Keep tryingg and if he does not respond let your attorney get the message through to him in the form of child support.
allforfun 23
Because God forbid a man doesn't do what you want, take his money! That'll show him!
janfleury 19
No its call child support.
DropTheDaggerxx 31
@49 Seriously? It's not a matter of a man "doing what you want". It's called taking financial responsibility for something that you contributed to. OP at least deserves financial compensation if this guy isn't going to actually take any real, physical responsibility over the child. Both parties know what's at risk when it comes to having sex.
Fmlsea 28
hey it takes two to make a kid if he didnt want a baby then he should of used protection !
RpiesSPIES 27
YDI. Not everyone really cares about social media. Some people have accounts because people pushed them into it, or just outright refuse to make accounts. Just because he doesn't want to accept a friend request doesn't mean a relationship is doomed to fail.

Yeah I'm pregnant with twins by a man who thinks my twins would be better off with him and his new girlfriend in their two bedroom roach infested apartment. When I am a nurse and own a 7 bedroom house on 2.5 acres. This is why being safe and protected is key. I reproduced on a one night stand with scum. :-/
sturschaedel 27
Cut all ties with that loser. He's probably not going to pay child support anyways and your kids are better off never knowing who their dad is.
VeganDarkLight 31
45, are you serious? First of all, not having money for a huge flat doesn't mean he won't pay child support or will be a bad dad. Secondly, why would you deny a father his children and vice versa if he never did any harm to them? I really hope you're joking.
MonstreBelle 29
Neither of those things are valid reasons to keep a child from a parent. All he needs to do is call an exterminator. They are his kids too. He has just as much of a right to have them with him as you do. It's sad that your hatred towards him is stronger than your love for your twins.
pandalover69 26
It seems like she's saying he wants full custody.
MonstreBelle 29
If she is fighting for full custody, then he has just as much of a right to fight back for full custody, so if that's the case it wouldn't change anything. This is exactly where parents having equal rights to their kids comes in. A mother is not entitled to have more time with her kids and at the expense of their father. Have joint 50/50 custody. It doesn't matter if one parent doesn't want that. What's in the best interest of the kids is more important than a parent's wants or feelings. Wanting to keep kids away from their father because you hate him is the opposite of doing what's in the best interest of the kids. It's a petty, passive-aggressive way of using your kids as pawns to try to enact some form of punishment on the "scum" that you think is so beneath you.
Fmlsea 28
i think alot of you are reading her comment wrong, she was not saying she didnt want to keep her kids from their dad. she said "by a man who thinks her twins ,would be better off without him". that is not her denying him custody ! that is him trying to get out of being a parent, by using the kids will be better off without him excuse.
MonstreBelle 29
Read the comment again. It says "...by a man who thinks my twins would be better off WITH him and his new girlfriend IN their two bedroom..." He wants his kids WITH him, not without him. He wants his kids IN his apartment, not out of it. He is trying to take responsibility for his actions and be a father to those twins. Those twins are just as much his as they are hers. If she refuses to let him see his own kids, then he has every right to fight for 50/50 joint custody and he should fight for joint custody.
C_Celine_101 19
I don't think OP cares so much about the friend request rather the fact he won't even even accept her as a friend on a social networking site let alone take part in any aspect of the her or the child's life. At least that's what I gathered anyway...
