Disney magic
Today, the highlight of my day was a conversation about Disney, which ranged from Pocahontas lunch boxes to Disneyland Paris. I don't know who was more excited; me, a 20 year-old man, or the 6 year-old girl I was talking to. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I took my family to Disneyland. My husband had more fun than my five year-old daughter. He was hitting on the princesses. FML
Today, I was at Disneyland with some of my friends. While eating lunch, we watched a small child get frightened by the person dressed as Mickey Mouse. We all burst out laughing only to be jumped by Chip and Dale. Apparently I scream louder than the little kid. FML
Today, I went on a date. I'm a big Disney fan, so naturally the topic came up. He said, "The only Disney movie I didn't really like was Pocahontas." I have a Pocahontas tattoo. FML
Today, my family bet me $20 to wear a Disney Princess hat for the entire day around a theme park. I am 17 years old. We decided to go for lunch in one of the restaurants. After we finished, a woman gave my parents a leaflet on how to cope with disabled children. FML
Today, I bought tickets to Walt Disney World for myself and my 6 year-old. She just announced she's afraid to ride an escalator, to the point of tears. FML
Today, I was at Disneyland with a friend. We were watching the light show, and when Tinkerbell came out, we both started crying. Some guy noticed and called us "fucking pussies". FML
Today, while working at a certain California theme park in full costume, I was approached by a kid in line, who looked at me and exclaimed, "Hey look, its Indiana Jones!" which felt pretty amazing. His sister, who was maybe seven years old, glanced over at me and said, "No, he's way too fat." FML
Today, I realised that I'm kinda living the life of a Disney princess, because I'm lonely and all my friends are animals. Yes, I also talk to them. FML
Today, I went to Disney World. I fell and hit my head while jumping up and down to see Ariel. I'm a 35 year-old man. FML
Today, I fulfilled my lifelong dream of going on a family trip to Disneyland. Less than two hours in the park, my kids have been scared shitless by every single character, they don’t want to ride any rides, my husband is drunk, and the mouse ears headband gave me a vomit-inducing migraine. FML

What's wrong with being enthusiastic about Disney? Sure, you're a guy, but some girls (myself included) would be thrilled to have a conversation with a guy who knows his stuff about Disney. You've got some major lady-bait going on. Next time, use your knowledge to impress a full-grown lady (rather than a six year old) and you might just have some success.

I think this is pathetic. One: so what if you know a lot about Disney? It's not any different than knowing all the sports trivia about a team or knowing about cars. If anything, it most likely reflects how you were raised. While it might seem "gay" you most likely brightened a little girl's day and that doesn't seem like an FML to me. Two: The only FML is that you don't have enough balls to say you like something without regretting it later. If you really like DIsney, then own up to it. If you think you have no life then get off the couch, turn off the movies and join a group. There is no excuse to be anti-social unless you are in prison, locked in a basement, or bedridden, unable to get out of your house. But since you had a conversation with a six year old obviously you were out and about. So instead of spending all your energy watching Disney Movies invite people over to watch other movies. The only thing ****** about this is your attitude. You made a little girl happy. Unless you are a pedo, then you should feel proud you made some little girl happy.

I once had a conversation with a six year-old boy about Star Wars, and I'm a 25 year-old guy. The kid knew his stuff, so I was very impressed. Easily made my day that day.

I bet you made her day, though. Little kids love it when adults take the time to really talk to them, especially when it's about stuff like Disney. Plus, as a chick, I will tell you that I adore seeing guys around my age (20 too) talking and interacting positively with little kids. Which is strange, because I don't like kids much myself...but I'm sure I'm not the only girl who loves seeing a guy being good with kids. Lion King and The Hunchback of Notre Dame!

I don't think this is an FML. I think that this is adorable. I love it when guys know how to interact with children, and like some others said, you probably made her day.
