Date night
Today, I got into a heated argument at a restaurant with a guy I am seeing because he refused to let me pay for the bill and I thought it was sexist. When he finally agreed, I gave the waiter my card, only to have him return a minute later telling me it was declined. FML

girl, it's just polite, classy, traditional. get over yourself it's nothing to get in a heated argument about, either. come on, if you offer to pay half and he declines, accept graciously. it makes you seem like less of a bitch.

Wow...there's really no need to get into a heated argument about it.

****** feminists. Someone tries to do something nice, and you feel the need to act like an idiot, and karma gives you a well deserved kick in the ass.

Its not sexiest...Its polite... The guy was trying to be a gentleman and pay for his dates dinner... You had a gentleman which is hard to find nowadays and you took advantage.... Sad day for you

The guy is trying to do something nice and polite and you go and act like a total bitch, thinking you're doing him a favor? No. Karma's a bitch, and so are you. YDI.

ok... if the most "sexist" action you have in your life is someone handing you money, then you need to stop complaining or shoot yourself in the face.

Sorry but you deserved that one. I am a big fan of women's rights and equality, but I know when to pick my battles. I don't always like letting the guy feel like he has to pay, but if he insists multiple times, I let him, it's nice, not sexist. In fact, the next time I usually pay for him. Sometimes guys pay for their dates and sometimes girls pay for their dates. Sometimes I even buy a coffee for one of my female friends, it's not sexist there, not because we're both girls but because it's a nice gesture. It happens, it's courteous. You should really be fighting inequalities in the workplace, law, etc. not when some guy is nice and offers to buy you something.

YDI. It's not sexism it's manners. Also, never mind, it couldn't possibly be sexism because he never made the impression that he was better because he was a man. He was just trying to do a kind thing and pay for your dinner, Ma'am, please learn what the hell sexism, racism, etc is before you try and open your mouth about it. I guarantee you, you'll get more dates that way.

Feminists just go around complaining about men. Have you looked at yourselves, morons? Whenever I see a feminist think that a guy holding the door open for them is "sexism", I ******* rage. The feminist movement meant something in 1915. Now it's a load of crap. The man was just trying to be polite to you, and you felt that it was such a crime. Kindly die in a fire.
