Today, I received several pairs of panties in the mail that I'd ordered online. When I opened the box, I was shocked because every pair was basically huge granny-panties. I was sure none would fit properly, but I tried them on to be sure. They fit perfectly. FML

Today, I bought some cheap panties from a local store. They were great, so I ordered two dozen more, from the store’s website. Turns out the size L from the internet is just about the same as the size S from the local store. They told me that I couldn't expect different colors to be the same size. Go figure. FML
Today, I grabbed a pair of pants from the dryer in a hurry, trying to make it to the bank. When I rushed in, I felt something fall down my leg. It was a pair of my mom's granny panties that had been stuck inside my jeans. I kicked them aside, hoping no one would notice. They did. FML
Today, I received a really nice red satin set of underwear, with a bra, a thong and a corset... From my grandfather. FML
Today, I received a package and excitedly tore it open. It was a specific dress I'd rush-ordered for an upcoming special event, but the company had sent me a size meant for a toddler. I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry. FML
Today, I was trying on some new pants in the fitting room at a store. I was so overcome with joy when I noticed that I had dropped two pant sizes, that when I took them off and went outside to pay for them, I realized I forgot to put back on my original jeans. FML
Today, my husband bought me XL pajamas for my birthday. I got really angry, telling him that's obviously not my size. I tried them on just to show him how ridiculous they look. They fit. FML
Today, while I'm in the depths of postpartum blues and insecurities, my grandmother in-law gifted me a size 22 pair of jeans that does not fit her. I'm a size 12. I started crying and fake choked so that nobody would notice. FML
Today, I picked up my daughter from preschool. Her teacher handed me her nap blankets and mentioned there was an extra article of clothing I might want to take home. I looked in-between the blankets and saw a pair of my giant granny panties that had gotten mixed in with her stuff. FML
Today, I know my clothing size and the clothes I buy usually fit me. Except for underwear. How come women’s panties always seem to be at least one size smaller than advertised? FML
Today, after I ordered a pair of "one size fits all" leggings from a sketchy online store, they arrived. I eagerly tried them on only to discover they fit… but only one leg. Now, I’m stuck with what looks like a bizarre spandex leg warmer. The company doesn’t accept returns. FML

I'm not sure if you're complaining about the size of the panties, or the style. Either way, as long as they fit and are comfortable this shouldn't be a problem. Just an optimistic view point.

I felt the same way when I got pregnant. No way a large would fit! Yup, and they're kinda snug. I was a xsmall too... :(

I wasn't trying to brag just sucks when you were smaller and realize how big you get when you're pregnant. Insecure fatty is kinda harsh though if you ask me.

I had a similar experience to op and #1. I have always been extremely tiny, and looking back, underweight. I had to go on some medication for health issues and gained a lot of weight. I remember getting underwear from my sisters for Christmas and looking at them thinking "wow those look big, I can't see them fitting," and sure enough, they fit perfectly. I was happy they fit and I didn't have to return them, and I was also extremely disappointed that they fit. It is what it is.

Exactly how I feel :) my body did what it had to do lol I was underweight but it still sucks. Oh well... She'll be out eventually and then I can try and be a healthy individual at a healthy weight!

There is something you can do to stop this. I know I'll get bitched out for it but it's called losing weight or being comfortable with your weight. No ones fault but you own and maybe your parents if your young enough.

The thing is, this could be a scenario where weight isn't the issue. I've picked up some pants and they've looked huge (I'm a UK 8-10) but they've fit fine, others look ridiculously tiny and still fit fine. It depends on the style and material.

Not to mention, as someone else has already stated, op might not actually be overweight but she just may, genetically, have a big butt. If you're born with bigger hips/butt, and you yourself are tiny and in shape, there's very little you can do to get a smaller butt. Working out will only make the muscles in the butt more toned and probably make them bigger.
