Bakery people seem to have a lot of weird "opinions"
Today, I was refused service at a bakery, got yelled and cussed at to the point of tears, and told to go back to my home country, Ukraine. According to the guy, my people are Nazis who spent the past year draining Americans of their tax dollars to fund their war. I couldn’t report him, he was the owner. FML

Leave bad reviews on Facebook and other sites also report them to the Better Business bureau. Assholes like that need to be called out on their shit.

If this is in the US, national origin is a strictly protected class next to race and they cannot legally deny service based on it.

No, they do not. If they refuse service based on certain factors, they are in violation of the law.

At the very least leave a bad review (just tell the truth) and use a different bakery for your bakery needs. Obviously this owner is a nut job. Unfortunately some small business are owned by nut jobs. Larger businesses usually cannot get away with that kind of behavior because they are under more scrutiny and the management is usually more professional. Many larger grocery stores have a bakery right inside the store. It’s not quite like an old time independent bakery, but most are pretty good.

Report the person. If you are in the United States or certain European countries, you are protected by anti-discrimination laws (The EU has similar laws as the United States.
