* backs away slowly *

Today, I went to visit my long-distance boyfriend for the first time. His room is decorated top to bottom with swastikas and confederate flags. FML

Sounds like a red flag.

Time to end that relationship.

When one gets in an LDR, the inevitable question is: If that person is so great, why can’t they get a local girlfriend? Mystery solved here. Case closed!

When you can’t find Mr. Right, you might settle for Mr. Reich.

Dating someone you've never met? Right

I'm happily engaged to a guy I met online who lives 2400 miles away. We've been together for nearly eight years. The distance isn't the issue here.

it sounds to me like they might have met but she'd not gone to his house before

OP* I don't know what their gender is. Though if the bf is a Nazi I would imagine he'd be intolerant of LGBT too

I highly doubt that hasn't come up in conversation before.

Comment moderated for rule-breaking.

Well it is legal for blacks to pull guns on random people or play the knockout game. I hate racist but lets be serious since the law won’t

... what.

I don't know where you live, but in every sovereign state I've stepped in, it's illegal for anybody, regardless of skin color, to pull out a gun on a random person.

that is a serious red flag

Sad truth is I would not be surprised at all if he starts describing you un ironically as a feminazi and sending you threats while bitching online that it's your fault he can't get laid. There's a pretty big over lap between the Incel (involuntary celibacy) groups and white supremacy. Stay safe out there. Hopefully you're long distance enough he leaves you alone.

Why the hell not? Could be fun.

For a lot of people racism is a turnoff.

It stops being fun real soon. For a start you know he's going to suggest they take their first holiday together in Czechoslovakia.

Radical views of any kind are usually a turnoff. If you ignore that red flag, you can't blame anyone for getting beat up down the line. Especially if you hold different views and he knows it.

I'm a bit surprised. This never came up conversations? He never Facetimed you from his room? Hopefully you can get a hotel and change your flight so you can go back home and ghost this guy.
