If you're going to comment, try to act intelligent. Having one laptop stolen doesn't mean the OP loses internet access forever. There are always library computers and they might have a desktop or another laptop. Also, please stop trying to connect to this by saying you were the other party involved in the FML, that gets really annoying after a while.
And thieves take what they want when they rob a house-they don't care how you feel, so they take whatever pleases them, even if it is just ice cream (Ice cream does cost a bit)

I don't know about you, but I carry my flat screen TV from a room to the other just fine. I don't see why the post would be made up.
The robber didn't steal the ice-cream to resell it, he stole it to eat it, as a bonus to stealing the stuff that was worth money.
