Today, after the two week winter break, I went back to school to find that the bookbag that I'd left in my car was covered in some creepy, pink gooey stuff. Under the freezing conditions, my lotion had exploded all over my notes and bag. FML

  • I smell shenanigans. Most lotions are water based, so it wouldn't just explode, it would freeze inside the bottle. Perhaps the bottle cracks because the ice expands, but unless the lotion thawed, and leaked out the crack, it wouldn't just ooze out.

  • I don't know if lotion explodes in freezing conditions or not, but why would anyone care? Wiping the lotion off the bag or putting it in the wash would take at most 30 minutes of total time to fix. Plus, it's a new semester for every school in America, who cares about your old notes? This is so irrelevant it borders on the non-existent.

I mean, are there submitters here who walk around going "the first moderately inconvenient thing that happens to me, I'm submitting this to FML"? Is this what people think of when they think "fuck my life": lotion inside a bookbag?
