Today, I went to a movie with my boyfriend. In the lobby, I asked why the glasses were not working. I said, "Do they only work inside the theater?" My boyfriend replied, "3-D glasses just work inside the movie, everything else in the World is pretty much 3-D." FML

"Technically speaking while the world is 3D what we see is an perspective projection of the scene onto a 2D plane"

What #9 was saying was that our eyes have to render the 3D world around us on our retinas to process the data, and then we synthesize a mental image of that non-3D input in our occipital lobes.

Although technically speaking, the images are passed through a lens and onto a curved plane (our retinas), so your statement was not quite correct.

Also, OP, how do you remember to breathe?!
