Today, I found out that my so-called "friends" on my Skype group chat have another group chat that contains everyone but me. Apparently, they made it so I would not "disturb" their conversations. FML
Today, I was telling my friend how lonely I am on Skype. He responded by deleting me as a friend. FML
Today, I was having computer problems, so I let my friend have remote access to fix them. We were video-chatting on Skype at the time, and so he thought it'd be hilarious to load hardcore porn in my browser the moment he saw my mom enter the room from behind me. I'm now grounded. FML
Today, I caught my "best friend" on my laptop, copying my girlfriend's nudes onto his flash drive. FML
Today, I found out that my 'girlfriend', who I've been emailing with, was really my friend playing a prank on me. He asked me for naked pictures of myself and I sent them to him. FML
Today, I was on Skype with the guy I like. After a while of being on Facebook I forgot I was on webcam to him and started picking my nose. He ended the call. FML
Today, I was on a conference call and digital meeting at work when I got bored and started surfing the Internet. Little did I know that my desktop was being shared. My boss was on the call and saw everything. FML
Today, my dick of a roommate was moving out. She didn't actually tell us she was moving out and took the wifi, modem and all, while my other roommate was on a Skype call and I was watching a show. All with no warning. It's Saturday, I have an online assignment due Sunday. FML
Today, my idiot roommate finally realized that a girl who follows you everywhere like a puppy, always wants to talk to you, and "accidentally" sends nudes is into you. Unfortunately, she's since moved on from him. Now I get to listen to him whine about how unfair it all is. FML
Today, I was brutally dumped over webcam, by my boyfriend, who was taking a dump with the laptop on his lap. FML

Since they're roommates, I'm assuming OP didn't lend it to him, he probably just took it out of OP's bedroom. But yeah, always have a password, for exactly this reason.

Probably because it's easier. I used to have my Facebook set to always be logged in so I wouldn't have to type my email and password and wait for it to load every time, and no password on my laptop for the same reason. I wasn't worried since I never let anyone near my laptop, but I learned my lesson the hard way when I forgot it at my boyfriend's house and he went through all my private documents, and all my personal messages on Facebook. Now I have passwords for everything.

I hope you broke up with him for that. I had an ex do exactly the same thing. He went through my room, my desk, and tried to get on my computer. He got mad when I would not tell him the password. He tried the argument "if you have nothing to hide..." on me and I broke up with him.

You could try face time or just call them, or make a new Skype account and put a password on your computer.
