Second, girls are able to mature much faster than guys. Why does a number have to determine if two people can be together or not? She is completely legal as an individual who is independent and able to make her own choices in life. Also, people mature at different times and rates depending on life experiences. Talking from experience, my mother left my dad and I when I was just 13 years old. I quickly learned what it means to be not only a daughter but a grown woman as my dad had a job across the border and was home no more than twice a month. In situations like this that life throws at you, you suddenly have no choice but to grow up and guess what? I didn't fit in at all with the other teenagers talking about the new pop stars that came out. Instead, I was thinking if I'll vacuum, wash the dishes, do the laundry and cook before or after coming back from school, my first, or my second job. On the other hand, take for example a man that has had 'mommy' do laundry and fold his clothes...you think just because he is 30 it is appropriate for him to be with someone his own age? I'm not saying the OP is a momma's boy, but seriously people, think before you speak. She made him happy, and I bet that at one point, he was making her happy as well. What else is there to judge? Almost everywhere in the world, at 18 one is considered and independent person of the country even if they dont yet have rights to alcohol or driver's license, etc. Obviously, she completed him at one point which is the most incredible feeling in the world. As to my advice to the OP, I think you have to do some evaluating of who you really are. Somehow, I believe her when she calls you immature. So fix it, and find a girl that makes you happy and completes you REGARDLESS of her age! (as long as she's legal, of course:))
