Today, a neighbor asked if I could take her to work and pick her up when she got off. She said she'd pay me, so I agreed and dropped her off. When I went to pick her up after work, I spent two hours waiting for nothing. She already got a ride back home. FML

I hope she paid you the full agreed amount, plus what two hours of your time is worth. That’d be about an extra $4.50 for you — that’s the going rate for people who don’t have the brains to call after someone is more than five minutes late!
