after she explained in detail, did you acknowledge what she said, and how you felt about it first before delving in to yours? if a person doesn't feel heard, they often don't want to listen to what that person has to say. I've learned to speak up when i don't feel heard, if has a habit of cutting you off when you're being respectful, finding your voice to say that you matter is important, if she still doesn't care, it's important to let them know that you know you deserve better and will get it if they aren't willing to treat you with the respect and dignity you deserve
