Today, I asked out the girl of my dreams, the girl I've loved for 3 years. I went to her desk and surprised her with roses, chocolates, and played “All I Want for Christmas is You.” She said no. On top of that, she ate all the chocolates. FML

Today, I had a date with a girl. Wanting to make a good impression, I spend a lot of time getting ready and by the time I get to the place we were supposed to meet she isn't there anymore. I call her to see where she is. She's in bed with another guy and says "I was REALLY waiting for you". FML

I don't see why she asked you if she had a boyfriend, even if she knew you liked her and wanted you to back off... What's the point in asking if you're just going to send your boyfriend in after the poor guy

YDI. She's not your "dream girl" if you know so little about her that you don't know she has a boyfriend. If you did know then you really, really deserved it.
