Today, my roommate thought of a new idea for our household. According to him, we should take dumps at work as often as we can, that way, "we'll save on toilet paper at home." FML

Me and my roommates actually try to do this to save money. It's really not a huge inconvenience, but since we usually have 0 cash it helps to save in any way we can. Anyway OP you don't HAVE to do it. He was probably just fielding a suggestion.

This isn't a new idea at all! Due to the nature of my job, we have a very nice kitchen facility, showers and laundry as well. As a result, Anything I could do at home, but get paid for at work, gets done at work. Shower, cook breakfast/dinner (rather than eat at home before/after work), and do my laundry as well. I can't justify doing any of it for free (or expense) at home when I can be paid for it all!
