I would think as an employer, it would look better for you if you did. You made a mistake, worked out a solution to fix it and acted on it. Sounds much better than "this muppet left the wrong number and never called back"

Call them back, that can't be the stupidest mistake they've encountered. Don't just let the opportunity go by. They'll probably be impressed by your courage if you call back. Good luck.

Just call them back and explain that you were a little nervous and made a mistake. If they aren't going to hire you over a small mistake like that, then you probably don't need to be at a place like that anyways.
