That is extremely excessive. You're legally an adult, you can do what you want with your body. Although if you live at home respect their wishes if they pay for you to stay. If not then **** it. I've done crazier lol.

OP here, guys! Let me clear up a few things lol. First of all, I've had my ear lobes pierced since I was 3 months old. Today, I went and got my second lobes pierced. I had no idea that it would upset my mom, especially since I've already had my ears pierced and I didn't get anything crazy. Apparently "too many body piercings" is "trashy" lol. And yes, I'm 19 and legally an adult, but my parents don't want me to move out until I've finished school so being threatened to get kicked out really caught me off guard lol. My mom definitely overreacted but since I still live at home and they're paying for my education, I agreed with my mom that once the piercings heal, I'll "take them out" lol. What she doesn't know is that I'll just wear them while I'm not at home. Only 3 more years until I'm out of there!

Your parents are paying for your education and room and board for the next few years. Pull your head out of your ass and show the tiniest bit of respect to them.
