Today, I'm three months pregnant. Hours after the father of my baby bought me a wedding ring, he decided to get drunk and tell me that he doesn't see himself with me for the rest of his life, and doesn't really want to get married. Oh and he hates my dog. FML

Today, my boyfriend proposed to me. I said yes. This caused him to panic, excuse himself, then take it back via text message a half hour later, claiming he'd been drunk. We live together. When he comes back home, it's going to be very awkward indeed. FML

What is the problem here? he got to get drunk and watch his team win, you got the ring. you're obviously still together. it seems to me like good things happen when he's drunk. go out and get him a case of beer and ask him for a new house. you got this champ

Well, to be fair, some men need irrational thought to make them take the plunge. It may not be that he didn't think you were worth marrying when he was sober; he may have needed the confidence brought on by alcohol and the team winning to get up the courage. Also, new kids create stress, so anything he said probably sounds harsher than he means inside.

My friend's (now ex) boyfriend told her he only asked her out because his best friend fancied her and they had a bet as to who would get her first. Basically it lasted a month or two, they say they loved each other, blah blah, I think he just ended up liking her anyway, which was lucky for her. Stupid git ended up telling her :|

I guess he was drunk on the wedding day to? if he married u, and u guys have been with eachother longest enough to have ur second child, I think he doesn't regret it.
