Today, I found out that the man I called grandpa for 40 years is really my dad. My drunk aunt spilled the beans. Her exact words were, "My dad is a better dad to you than he EVER was to me! You never wondered why he treated you better than his other grandchildren? You're his son!" FML

If that were true, it would mean that a majority percentage of the population could be classified as "mistakes" as well, since many individuals are either "accidents" themselves, or descend from someone who was at some point in their lineage. I don't subscribe to your grandmother's logic at all, but even if she is correct, you'd be in good company.
